It appears that a recent Chrome update has added a new default option to block external applications from being accessed, this update from Google appears to have resulted in potential printing and cash drawer concerns; this appears to only affect Chrome version 147 or higher. We are working on publishing an updated Knowledgebase article outlining the steps to resolution with screenshots; general guidance is provided below.
** An alternative browser such as Edge or Firefox can be used as an immediate resolution. **
To disable the block external application setting in Chrome you will first navigate to CampusCloud and then click on the site settings icon in the address bar to the left of the URL (icon is two horizontal lines with a circle on the end of each line); toggle on the Apps on Device setting to allow communications with external apps.
You can also navigate to Store Administration / Store Settings / Devices / Printers where you should receive a popup asking if you wish to allow Chrome to access other Apps, click Allow.
