Update
We are continuing to monitor status updates from Clover and are working to get additional details.
Please note that while Cloud Pay Display has Degraded Performance, you can continue to accept credit card payments using the direct Sale app on your Clover device; this process involves separate processing in CampusCloud and on the Clover device -
1. Prepare a Retail transaction in CampusCloud to calculate and finalize the transaction total 2. Process a credit card transaction through the Sale app on the Clover device 3. Finalize the Retail transaction in CampusCloud using a "non-authorized" tender such as Cash or Check; we recommend adding a note at the end of the transaction indicating it was a manual credit card charge
While this process will result in a reporting mismatch between the credit card and cash lines on CampusCloud reports at the end of the day, the documented manual credit card transactions can be used to calculate the offset and provide reconciliation records.
